Persuasive writing
Purpose: persuade Mr elder whether there should be reflection or not.
Audience: Mr elder/ Mr moore
L.G: shower control with my sentences by varying my sentence type and length.
Reflection
Should we have reflection yes or no? Well my opinion is we should have reflection for 1. Doesn't teach us kids if we don't have reflection
2. Different ideas for reflection
3. Make them think about their mistakes
Paragraph 1
Refelition if we didn't have it we would have a really bad school what just getting told off is good idea . But if we had reflection we might get put in there for a day might go back out and do it again so if we never had reflection we would get off with everything. So reflection teaches us to behave or would you rather have naughty kids in your school or well behaved kids my opion is well behaved kids so keeping reflection will help our school in all different ways. Some kids say yes for going into reflection and just sitting around for 20 mins.
Paragraph 2
Changing what we do for reflection . Kids like going to reflection because they're nothing to do in the 20 min we are provided with. Maybe instead of going on reflection we could help out around our school like picking up rubbish planting new plants for our school instead of sitting around for 20 minutes we could be helping out for our environment.
Paragraph 3
Do we really want kids of our school to go back and do the same stuff again well i am 100% sure you don't want them to do that so if you think we should change what we do for reflection instead of staying inside for 20 minutes
Conclusion
Just think about it more challenging task not as fun reflection

Build a business
For build a business we were selling Oobleck and stress balls for the following report you will see how we found the process, how successful market nights was, profit and payback loan and what would we change or improve.
I found leading up to market night was fun but hard. My partner for build a business as jaymie. We thought we had finished our booklet but we had forgotten 1 thing which was our budget and how much one product cost.
For build a business we were not really successful but we tried our hardest . We always had a chance to change our product to be more successful . Our profit was around $10. We payed back our loan with just enough profit left.
I would change our product to something bigger. I Say that for build a business we should make something like food or are woulsell better. I would improve my stall and try make it stand out so everyone would want to come see it.
Build a business was very fun for me for our last build a business. We made $25 worth of orders. I Hope next time I'll change my product to something bigger.

Vote for our current flag
To our wonderful year 7& 8 teacher (sort of ) my writing today is about 3 statements first i will be talking about our history second will be on how much money we are wasting on the new flag last but not least changing ever little flag in nz.
Primarily, the current flag has a lot of history behind it. One of the biggest history is all our soldiers that died 4 us in ww1 & ww2 to save our country. Think of all the kids that thought their dad was coming home and then their mum telling them dad's not coming back. Those are pretty brave people.
Furthermore the current flag is way too much money for our tiny country yep we all know he takes a lot of money out of our account for taxes now here is a question for u do u think our country needs a new flag yes or no.
In addition we end up having to change our passports and parents have to change their driver's licence. If we change the flag we have to change ever little flag in nz.
Concluding i think we should keep our current flag for multiple reasons mostly because our soldiers died under that flag.
